Terms & Conditions of Participation

1. Agreement to Terms

By joining or participating in The Hivemind Community (“Community”), you (“Member”) agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not participate.

 

2. Purpose of the Community

The Community is an online space for neurodivergent professionals and allies to share support, ideas, and experiences related to building neurodivergent-friendly careers.
 It is not a forum for medical, legal, or mental-health advice.

 

3. Expected Conduct

Members agree to:

  • Treat all participants—including moderators and the owner—with respect and kindness.

  • Use channels and meeting rooms only for their intended topics/purposes.

  • Avoid harassment, hate speech, bullying, or discrimination of any kind.

  • Avoid spamming, self-promotion, or solicitation without prior approval from moderators.

 

4. Moderation & Enforcement

  • The moderation team and the owner (Atypical Careers) reserve the right to remove posts, mute, or permanently remove any Member whose behaviour violates these Terms or disrupts the Community.

  • Such actions may occur without prior notice and no refunds or credits will be provided for lost access.

 

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Please respect the privacy of fellow Members. Do not share screenshots or quotes from the Community outside of it without explicit permission from the person who posted.

  • Atypical Careers is not responsible for information a Member voluntarily discloses to others.

 

6. Member Responsibility & Disclaimers

  • Any information, suggestions, or advice shared in the Community are for informational and educational purposes only and do not guarantee success or specific outcomes.

  • Each Member is solely responsible for their own decisions and actions in their personal or professional life.

 

7. Intellectual Property

  • Content posted by Members remains their own, but by posting, you grant Atypical Careers a non-exclusive license to display and host it within the Community.

  • Do not upload copyrighted material you don’t have the right to share.

 

8. Technical & Access

  • Access to the Community is hosted on Kajabi. Service interruptions or downtime may occur.

  • Atypical Careers is not liable for technical issues outside of its control.

 

9. Termination of Access

  • Membership lasts for the period stated in your course or membership purchase.

  • Atypical Careers may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Ontario.

 

11. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted within the Community platform, and continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance.
